Request deletion without the app
You can request deletion of your Trueseller account and its associated data without installing the app or signing in. Email info@goapps.com.gh with the subject Trueseller account deletion.
- State that you want your Trueseller account deleted and include the phone number associated with it so support can identify the account.
- If you no longer control that number, say so. Support may ask for a safe way to verify ownership before deleting the account.
- Wait for support to confirm the outcome or explain any verification or retention issue. Sending the email starts a request; it does not itself confirm deletion.
Never send an SMS login code, account password, card details or a Mobile Money PIN. There is no published fixed completion time for an email request. You can follow up at the same address for its status.
Delete inside Trueseller
Open Profile → Delete account, review the explanation and confirm deletion. The app clears this account’s local drafts and cached data after the server confirms deletion. If you cannot use this flow, use the email route above.
What deletion removes
Your profile and contact details are removed. Your listings and historical public content are hidden and their contents redacted, and your authored free text is removed or redacted. Sessions and outstanding sign-in codes are revoked. Uploaded contacts, incomplete contact uploads, contact-discovery preferences and the matching entry are removed. Private identity evidence and owned uploads are restricted and queued for removal; storage cleanup can take longer when a retry is needed.
What may remain
Necessary payment, audit, rating and numeric bid history may remain under a deleted-member identity for payment reconciliation and abuse prevention. These retained records currently have no fixed automatic deletion schedule. Contact support if you need information about a retained record or want to request its review.
Shared marketplace images may remain while another active listing uses them. Copies already downloaded or saved by other people cannot be recalled. Diagnostic services and payment providers have their own retention practices. Deletion does not cancel obligations you have already agreed with another user or automatically erase records held independently by payment providers.
Remove specific data without deleting your account
Use the available listing, profile and content controls to edit or remove information. In Settings, turn Sync my contacts off to remove uploaded contacts, or Let people find my public store off to remove your matching entry. These changes need to reach the server to take effect.
You can also email info@goapps.com.gh with the subject Trueseller data deletion request, identify your account and describe the data you want removed while keeping the account.
